My Story

I’ve been an artist since the age of two, and I truly believe we all start out that way. I was lucky to have parents and teachers who nurtured my creativity, but I’ve also seen how easily that spark can fade when it’s not supported ,which is why I’ve dedicated my life to helping others protect and rediscover their inner artist.

As an immigrant from Colombia, art became my bridge between cultures and my way of feeling at home in a new world. It has always been my outlet, my connection, and my compass through every stage of life.

Art Pwer was born during the pandemic, when I began hosting virtual art sessions to help friends and family stay connected. What started as a simple way to spread creativity quickly grew into a community movement. Today, I continue to teach full-time while running Art Pwer from my home studio : offering classes, workshops, and creative events that celebrate the joy and healing power of art.
